Rachael Utstein, MS, RD, CDN, LDN

pronouns: she/her

My name is Rachael Utstein and I am a Registered Dietitian licensed in Massachusetts & Connecticut. I specialize in working with individuals struggling with eating disorders, disordered eating, and body image. I believe that people of all body sizes and identities deserve a peaceful relationship with food and their bodies. I help my clients ditch diets & diet culture and support them in finding ways to nourish themselves, both physically & mentally, that actually feel good. My counseling style is client-led, compassionate, non-judgmental, and realistic.

I received my Bachelors degree in Human Development & Education at Binghamton University and then went on to get my Masters degree in Nutrition & Dietetics at D’Youville College in Buffalo, NY. I began my career as a dietitian working in community nutrition. I soon transitioned to working as an eating disorder dietitian in both the treatment setting (PHP/IOP) as well as the outpatient setting. At that time, I knew I had found my passion as a registered dietitian, and have been working alongside clients to heal their relationship to food and body since then.

I utilize a non-diet & weight inclusive approach to nutrition. This approach rejects restriction of any kind and promotes the principles of Intuitive Eating and Health at Every Size. Through the process of unlearning diet culture, my clients are able to re-learn how to trust their bodies and build a more positive relationship with food and their bodies.
